istockphoto_9932580-doing-homework The GED+ initiative provides an educationally enriched program for youth who traditionally have not been able to successfully complete existing General Education Degree (GED) or diploma completion programs, through a formal partnership with a state-licensed educational institution and community-based service provider.

Using innovative, evidence-based models, the programs create a relevant learning environment that includes a motivational "college-going" culture with wraparound job readiness and life skills support to effectively engage youth and assist them in attaining their GED or high school diploma and support their transition to postsecondary
education or a career pathway.

Eligibility Requirements:

Young adults ages 17-1/2 to 21 years of age from low income families who face barriers to employment.
